Still Not Ready for CHANGE?

Change happens, like it or not. You can deny it, resist it fight it or ignore it but in the end, change is still there. And it's not waiting for anyone.

In developing this program, Rick has drawn from the most exciting new ideas in business strategy, creativity, marketing and organizational behavior. He shows your participants how to embrace and harness the power of change, using it as a critical element to success.

Still Not Ready for CHANGE? shows the participant that while change is inevitable, it can be embraced and encouraged. By following the three steps outlined in this program the participant can take those steps necessary to make change his or her greatest ally in the new millinneum.

The program is based on three principles:

Develop the Vision for Change; Understand where you want to take the organization.

  • What actions will need to be taken? What do we expect from our employees?
  • How will they contribute to the actions that must be taken?
  • What systems are in place to insure employees can do their job?
  • How are we encouraging employees to contribute to the vision?
  • How will the organization need to change to reach the vision?

Develop the Roadmap for Change; What steps need to be taken and when?

  • Create an atmosphere of urgency.
  • Establish steps to achieve within each action area of the vision.
  • Encourage employees to take responsibility for action in their area.
  • Constantly reinforce it to insure message is clear.
  • Prepare for "mid-course" corrections.

Promote and Reward New Behavior;

  • Demonstrate the willingness to recognize individual short term successes.
  • Show all employees the positive results of the vision.
  • Confront the doubters.
  • Develop the language of change, "our results," "our vision."
  • Show enthusiasm for short term progress.

Still Not Ready for CHANGE? is a program that incorporates vivid and often humorous illustrations that prove leaders can create change in any organization...but they can't do it by themselves, they can't do it impatiently and they can't do it timidly.

Program Objectives:

  • Participants will leave with a personalized outline for change in their organization.
  • They will develop a plan to embrace change for success.
  • Participants will recognize that frustration is a major part of change.
  • Participants will learn how to anticipate and overcome setbacks.
